Atlanta, GA – September 23, 2013 – Callanwolde Fine Arts Center formally introduced a new logo today, through their all-new website. According to Callanwolde, the new logo is an evolution of the original logo and also uses architectural elements found in the mansion.
“We immediately placed the new logo up on our front sign and have had great feedback,” said Callanwolde Executive Director, Peggy Still Johnson. “Now that it’s on our website, we can share it with the world.
Our new website is much easier to navigate and there’s more detailed information about our classes. We are especially excited about new music classes we’ve added this fall, and all the new events during this year’s Christmas at Callanwolde. ‘Brides to be’ will also love the photo galleries with beautiful images of the mansion and grounds,” added Johnson.
Local marketing firm, Workshop 4, created both the logo and website. According to creative director Charles Willi, a quatrefoil from Callanwolde’s Gothic-Tudor architecture was the inspiration for the logo. “Touring the mansion everywhere you look you see trefoils and quatrefoils,” explained Willi. “To stay true to Callanwolde’s mission we wanted to include a bit of history to the new logo.”
Callanwolde is challenging visitors who tour the mansion to find the original architectural feature that inspired the logo. One lucky visitor may receive two free tickets to this year’s Christmas at Callanwolde open house. Details can be found on the “Tours” page of Callanwolde’s new website.
