Dress Code

All dance classes have a required dance uniform. When not in class, dancers should have something over leotard (shorts, pants, skirt etc) Please check the uniform requirements by class listed below.

Creative Movement /Pre-Ballet, Pre-Ballet 1 & 2, Dance Sampler

Children should wear leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Hair should be neat, and tied back from face.

Jazz Classes

Black leotards, tan tights, and black jazz shoes. Jazz pants optional.

Modern Classes

Form fitting apparel: leotards, tights, bike shorts, tanks or yoga style pants. No loose shorts without tights or bike shorts underneath. Hair up.


Ballet Classes and Advanced Coaching

Neatly pulled back and secured in a bun with no flyaway hairs.
Ballet slippers: Bloch full-sole leather

Grades: III, IV, and V

Grades: VI, VII, VIII, Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate/ Advanced Ballet & Advanced I & II

Style: Any Black spaghetti strap leotard (plain back and no double straps), pink tights, Bloch pink full-sole, leather ballet slippers.

Shoe sizes for adults are European sizes, which run approximately 2.5 sizes smaller than American shoes. Example: size 7.5 adult American = size 5 European. Children below size 2 American run about the same size. Example: a children’s 12 in American = children’s 12 in Europe.
