Susanna M. Green, an Atlanta native, discovered an early enthusiasm for dancing and drawing, which she was fortunate enough to enjoy studying at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. Her interest in the Arts propelled her undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., and the University of Georgia, where she completed her Fine Arts degree.
After graduating in 2007, Susanna began teaching creative movement and classical dance to kids and adults throughout the Atlanta area for various studios and arts programs, including, The Georgia Counsel for the Arts, Decatur School of Ballet, and Good Moves Dance. She was a principal performer with Room to Move Dance for nine years, and also enjoyed costume designing and co-choreographing for the ensemble, and has performed with Jerylann Warner’s contemporary Company, Gathering Wild, and with Andrew Ritfeld, in improvisational based public performances. She continues to teach and perform collaboratively with artists and dancers in Atlanta, and is thrilled to be returning to her home at Callanwolde to be a part of their new program.
