Since beginning her design career in 2008, establishing Rhonda Peterson and Associates, LLC; Rhonda has worked on projects from Atlanta, Georgia to Little Rock, Arkansas; where she also has an office.  She has recently joined Bryan Alan Kirkland of BAKDesigns, an architecture and interiors firm in Atlanta.  It is with BAKDesigns that Rhonda will sharpen her skills as a luxury interior designer by working on projects that require shrewd acuity of custom design.

Rhonda’s approach to design and her philosophy has made her one of Atlanta’s up and coming designers.  Her design aesthetic is fresh and sophisticated, using both classic and modern furnishings to create comfortable, contemporary environments tailor-made for her clients’ lifestyles.  She infuses her interiors with doses of color, art, and accessories that speak to who her clients are while leaving room for their changing tastes and interests.  Rhonda believes that “design is never finished.  It is a constant progression and evolution that should reflect who we are and how we live at every stage of our lives.”

Rhonda’s design blog “Stylish Spaces Designed for Living” was created in 2011, as an outlet for her to share her inspirations in interior design, fashion, entertaining, as well as her random thoughts and musings.  She has gained quite a following through her blog and was named one of Modenus Top 100 Interior Design Blogs for 2013.  Rhonda has also been a contributor on some of the more popular interior design blogs.  She was a featured designer for the 2013 Cathedral Antiques Show Inspiration House, as well as the spring 2013 Room Service Atlanta project benefiting the United Methodist Children’s Home.

Rhonda’s unique background and experience has positioned her to be a very dynamic designer.  She studied accounting at the University of Arkansas ; modeled for over a decade with Elite Model Management; worked as a sales manager for Louis Vuittion; and completed the Residential Planning Program at the Art Institute.  She understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, creating solid timelines, establishing and maintaining trusting relationships, and designing environments that are functional and enhance the clients’ quality of life.  The combination of these experiences gives Rhonda a competitive edge in the interior design industry.
