Tasha Williams is a choreographer, dance educator, performer, and arts administrator whose passion for dance began at the age of three. A Miami native with a rich Caribbean heritage, she draws inspiration from the diverse cultures and rhythms that shaped her artistic voice. Her dance education includes specialized training through performing arts magnet programs, years of independent study, professional dance training under Talani Torres during her formative years, and continued study under the instruction of Michelle Grant-Murray while attending Miami Dade College.
For 15 years, Tasha owned and directed her own dance studio, where she mentored dancers of all ages while creating a welcoming environment rooted in technical excellence, creativity, and confidence. She has performed, choreographed, and taught throughout the United States and internationally, using dance as a bridge for artistic expression, cultural appreciation, and community connection.
As the Lead Dance Education Coordinator for Progressions at Callanwolde, Tasha is committed to making high-quality dance education accessible to every student. Her classes inspire discipline, artistry, and self-expression while celebrating the transformative power of movement and culture.
