Beginning Ballet with Han
A delightful introduction to the sequence of exercises at the barre; the physicality and terminology of ballet. Includes easy to follow dance phrases and floor work. Appropriate for those new to ballet, revisiting the art form after an absence or dancers who want to refresh the basics of ballet.
Han is a classically trained dance choreographer, performer, educator, and filmmaker from the Pacific Northwest, whose work has been on display internationally. She holds a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy and Performance from The Hartt School of Dance (University of Hartford) and an MA in Screendance from The Place (London Contemporary Dance School). Her creative works, teachings, and current academic research center around experimental and interdisciplinary practices. Myers is currently based in Atlanta, GA.
