Jessi is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher of dance. Her career was forged in New York City while attending New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. After graduation, she had the opportunity to collaborate with and perform alongside many talented performers. Her performances have taken place all over NYC from Central Park’s Summerstage festival to Harlem’s Aaron Davis Hall and Williamsburg’s Arts neXus in Brooklyn. She has toured nationally and internationally with Nick Arrojo (What Not to Wear) as a choreographer and performer in Arrojo Studio’s hair shows. Since relocating to Atlanta, Jessi has taught dance classes at Callanwolde, Decatur School of Ballet, Dance 101 among others. She has performed with local Atlanta arts organizations such as Dashboard Co-op and Wonderroot. She is thrilled at the opportunity to become the Director of the Callanwolde School of Dance and is looking forward to many fulfilling years ahead in this position.
