In this workshop, participants will forge a candy cane or stocking hook utilizing a coal-burning forge, anvil and the hand-hammered forming techniques of blacksmithing.  All fuel and project materials will be provided, as well as safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, and aprons.  Participants will need to wear 100% natural non-flammable fibers (cotton or wool).  No synthetic fibers or blends.  Wear leather or cotton canvas shoes that fully enclose feet.  Long sleeve shirts and pants that cover tops of footwear.
