Callanwolde Creative Camp
Ages 6 – 12
Callanwolde Creative Camp is a fun way for aspiring artists rising first through seventh graders to spend the summer. Get out of the house and into our beautiful mansion with twelve acres to run around and be inspired. Campers will have fun painting, drawing, making prints, sculpting clay, and more. Each week has a new theme to fuel their imagination – see themes below.

Teen Summer Studios
Ages 13 – 18
Teen Summer Studios are perfect for teens (rising eighth graders, high school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors) looking to learn new skill sets or build their portfolios. Teen Summer Studios are taught by Atlanta arts professionals in a small class setting to help educate and develop in painting and drawing, pottery, photography, and more. A typical day includes instructor demos, art history, and plenty of studio time to work independently. Instructors will vary each week and offer a new curriculum each week while using mediums including but not limited to watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, graphite, pastel, and more.
This 2 week intensive camp will explore the creative possibilities of throwing clay on the wheel.
This intensive allows teens the time, focus, and support to bring their characters to life! Through research, anatomy study, and experimental sketches, teens will develop characters with key poses and expressions, model sheets, and sketches of their own environment and background.

Teens will experience a broad range of techniques and approaches to creating three-dimensional works of art.
This short intensive will teach budding artists how to draw from observation and their imaginations, while expanding on the elements and principles of classical art composition.

This intensive introduces teens to textile and fiber arts, with creations ranging from functional to fun! Processes include hand-sewing, embroidery, weaving, applique and more!
Ever driven past a mural and wondered who painted it? Curious about what the daily life of a professional artist looks like? This camp is for you! This week introduces campers to a new local, professional artist each day. Learn about their process, influences, and artistic practice.

This week will be all about strange art movements throughout history. Campers will different eras of counterculture and the works of art they inspired, and make their own art inspired by all of the absurd art that has come before them!

Summer Camp Cancellations and Refunds
Refund requests must be made five business days prior to the first day of a registered camp.
If the camper requests to drop before the camp starts, we offer a refund minus a $20 admin fee.
There are no refunds given once the camp week begins.
