Moira De Ninno holds a BA in English and a MS in Organization Development and Leadership. She calls Atlanta, GA home, helps employees to transform and works to elevate organizational culture and dynamics. Moira's collage hobby brings her a lot of joy. Each of Moira’s whimsical collages are compilations of many bits of vintage ephemera, photos she has taken, and images gathered from a variety of current publications. Much joy comes from combining the bits and pieces until they tell a new narrative. A lifelong maker of many creations, she counts among her favorite experiences the opportunity to exhibit and sell her dolls at the American Folk Art Museum in NYC. Her work hangs in Atlanta corporate offices, has been published in the Somerset Studio Spring 2021 and Winter 2023 issues, and is included on sets for Universal Studios and Netflix productions. Most importantly, it graces the walls of the individuals who purchase her collages for their homes. She teaches collage workshops at Spruill Center for the Arts, and Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. She allows students to discover the collagist within. Her students realize that they can create beautiful, harmonious stories from seemingly unrelated images. They discover the fun and freedom of collage.
