Drawing & Painting
This class is designed to guide students to find their inner artist and explore conscious and subconscious ideas – much like painters throughout history have found inspiration. The class is suitable for all levels and includes basic instruction for using oil paints as well as composition, subject matter, and concepts.
Learn to take your watercolor skills to the next level with an in-depth instruction on paint handling, value, composition, and drawing. The class will include live demonstrations as well as lots of individual instruction from a critically acclaimed watercolorist. Reference materials will be provided, but students are also encouraged to bring their own reference materials.
In Figure Drawing, students will closely examine the human form while drawing from observation. In the first half of the session, students will explore rapid movement and position changes through gestures. The second half will be reserved for a durational drawing with details.
