JWY 04 – Beginning/Intermediate Jewelry & Metalsmithing (Mujtaba)

Students will learn traditional metalsmithing techniques like piercing, soldering, forming, texturing, and bezel setting to create jewelry of their own design or an assigned project. Emphasis will be placed on proper use of tools and materials to create a beautiful, well crafted, and comfortable jewelry item that will last years of wear. Projects range from rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings. All tools and materials are provided, except silver and gemstones. Supply sources will be discussed at first class.
