*CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If the camper requests to drop before the camp starts, we do offer a refund, minus a $20 Admin fee. We ask that this refund request be made as soon as possible, but within a five-business-day window so we can try to fill the empty spot. There are no refunds given once the camp week begins.

Ages 6 – 12

Callanwolde Creative Camp

Callanwolde Creative Camp is a fun way for aspiring artists to spend the summer. Get out of the house and into our beautiful mansion with twelve acres of room to run around and be inspired. Campers will have fun painting, drawing, making prints, sculpting clay, and more. Each week has a new theme to fuel their imagination – see themes below. Camp starts June 13th!

Creative Camp Schedule & Themes

June 13th – 17th: Creative Masterminds
Artwork inspired by science, music, color theory, poetry, and beyond!

June 20th – 24th: Art in Motion
Get your creative juices moving with a series of artworks inspired by or created with kinetic movement!

June 27th – July 1st: The Great Outdoors
Creatively observe the great outdoors, creating artworks based on what you find!

July 5th – 8th: NO CREATIVE CAMP DUE TO THE 4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY

July 11th – 15th: Comics & Characters
Use your MARVELous creativity to make a series of artworks based on the art of comics and characters development and design!

July 18th – 22nd: Make it Pop!
Inspired by the pop-art movement, create a series of artworks with bright colors, popular imagery, and awesome patterns.

July 25th – 29th: Amazing Architects
Building, drawing, creating based on the world of architecture.

Ages 13 – 16

Teen Summer Studios

Teen Summer Studios are perfect for teens looking to learn new skill sets or build their portfolios. Teen Summer Studios are taught by Atlanta arts professionals in a small class setting to help educate and develop in painting and drawing, pottery, photography, and more. A typical day includes instructor demos, art history, and plenty of studio time to work independently. Instructors will vary each week and offer a new curriculum each week spreading across architecture, still life, figure drawing, and more all while using mediums including but not limited to watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, graphite, pastel, and more. Studios begin June 6th

Ages 16-18

Studio Intensives

In these one-week courses, students will work with a collegiate visual arts professor to build and develop a competitive portfolio for college admissions or AP Portfolio Exams. Instructors will offer personalized training and direct feedback, while students will have time to create work and develop a synthesis throughout their pieces. Teens will be in designated studio spaces for the week, using the Callanwolde grounds for breaks and lunch. Students are welcome to bring materials from home, but will also be provided studio supplies. Intensives begin June 6th

Summer Dance Intensives

The Callanwolde School of Dance invites dancers of all levels to take part in one-week intensives to focus on areas of movement, dance styles, technique, and more. For more information, visit CallanwoldeDance.com. Intensives start June 13th.

The Art House

The Art House (Ages 4-5): This brand-new camp program is geared toward the younger creatives to let them spend a few hours at Callanwolde dancing, painting, learning, creating musicals, exploring the estate, and more. Camps start June 13th!

Joe's Jazz Camp: Joe Gransden at Callanwolde

Spend the week learning and listening to Jazz with Atlanta's award-winning trumpeter and vocalist Joe Gransden!

Our Mission: To educate and enhance our youth through America's premier art form.
