After spending more than 30 years juggling two careers, one in the arts and music and the other in technology from which he retired just a few years ago, Zavé began concentrating on his first love post-retirement: His Writing! Early in his music career, Zavé was blessed and fortunate to be recognized by ASCAP (one of two organizations controlling the publishing of all A-List Artists in the music industry
with the other being: BMI) as a 3-time ASCAP Songwriter Workshop Award Winner. Since then, Zavé began to write books and as an Author, penned his own mother’s Portrait Memoir: ANNA AND THE COOL, A Memoir he wrote and published in 2020 about His mother’s own journey during The American Jazz Renaissance of the 1940s and 50s. This book is still garnering critical acclaim to this day.
Since then, Zavé’s writing journey took him to launch his own Children’s Brand: The Cuddlesaur Brand for which he penned stories of the Adventures of Cuddlesaur Nation and is now a full Animation Series, which he created from his books. All of which can be viewed at http://cuddlestore.b12sites.com/
Today, Zavé has been honored to represent The Callanwolde Foundation as its Creative Writing Instructor for the past 6 years and has inspired former students with a passion to become publish authors to go on and publish their work using Zavé’s Creative Writing Class as their Launch pad. Zavé’s teaching approach is to give the writer the safe space and freedom to express themselves and find their way through challenging writing prompts and helps each individual writer find their own unique inner writer voice.
