Workshop Overview: This is a fast-paced, hands-on workshop where students will create two expressive floral paintings using charcoal and acrylic paint on canvas. The focus is on loosening control, embracing “mistakes”, and building confidence through intuitive mark-making. I encourage students to let go of perfection through quick exercises. We will use vine charcoal for loose composition sketches and practice expressive brushwork and palette knife techniques for lively, imperfectly perfect finished paintings.
