Opening Reception Warrior Women
March 6 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Join us for the Opening Reception of Warrior Women.
“Warrior Women” is a magnificent collection of ceramic sculptures. The exhibit portrays real-life heroines from American history, contemporary life, and women around the world. Each sculpture is accompanied by a written narrative that tells the compelling story of a woman who struggled against unfair and often brutal circumstances. The sculptures also represent the courage of women who fought to liberate others, such as Harriet Tubman, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and the tireless nurses who worked around the clock during the Covid pandemic.
This event is free to attend, but a suggested donation of $20 would be greatly appreciated to help support our mission of expanding access to arts education and creative expression opportunities, especially to the underserved.
Beer, Wine, and Soft Drinks and Alice Woodruff’s Warrior Women Book will be available for purchase.
Exhibition on view until April 17th
